Kingston ABC boxing club, based on Hessle Road, is making new plans for the future.
The boxing club has great potential for hosting a wider range of activities, such as a community cafe, activities for older people, or youth clubs. Now the club wants to know what people in the local area would be interested in.
Claire and Abigail met with Steve Pollard, who is running the club and working on the new plans.
“There is great potential for a wider range of activities in the building,” said Claire, “so we want to hear from anyone who has ideas about any activities they would like to see in the area”.
“This is a really exciting opportunity for the local community,” said Abigail, “Claire and I will do all we can to support the club in providing new facilities for people in the local area.”
