On Saturday, Cllrs Claire Thomas and Abigail Bell attended the events at Peter Pan Park.

First off, in the morning, they helped the Friends of Peter Pan Park plant bulbs near the coffee shop. Despite the cold weather, lots of people came and the bulbs went in really quickly. “It was great to see so many people come along and help to improve the park in this way” said Cllr Claire Thomas.

In the evening the Friends of Peter Pan Park held a ‘carols in the park’ event, which Claire and Abigail also attended. It was very well attended, and the event went really well. “People of all ages came to sing along with the carols” said Claire, “the Friends of Peter Pan Park did a great job in organising such a successful event”.
